Out and About in Turkey

6th July 2010

Getting out to see our clients helps us understand their needs and is a key part of our sales and support activity.  Kelvin Oakley recently headed out to Turkey to see Lindstrand dealer Goreme Balloons, based in the Cappodocia region of Turkey, know for its picturesque fairy chimneys.

Balloons in Cappadocia

It's not uncommon to see a Lindstrand balloon in Turkey, as they are flown by Goreme Balloons, Kapadokya Kaya Balloons, Anatolian Balloons, the Turkish Aeronautical Association, and a new company Royal Dinlar Balloons who have just bought 3 full kits.

On average you can see up to 50-60 balloons flying each morning, creating a spectacular sight.

Kelvin's annual trips to Turkey involve sales, maintenance, checking kit and giving advice on any neccessary repairs.  "We are very happy to support our product with this service.  We also offer the same service to customers operating Lindstrand Balloons in the Masai Mara in Kenya," commented Kelvin, who returned with orders for six new balloons, 4 for Goreme Balloons and 2 for Anatolian Balloons.
