Envelope Design
Each custom made envelope takes on its own individual personality, from its conception created from the customers' personal choice or a company’s exact logo or product, which is formulated into a design by our in-house graphic designers, Clare and Rene.
These designs allow for accurate cutting of effective splits which in turn make it possible to :-
  • lessen the envelope weight thus increasing the envelopes' lift capacity
  • create the perfect beautiful balloon for a night glow
  • create specially designed and crafted special shapes
Sewing
Emphasis is put on a 100% quality product.  Our highly skilled seamstress are responsible for the total manufacture of your chosen design - hence: 
  • total quality and continuity
  • a pride in the product we are producing
  • a sense of achievement/satisfaction for both the client and the skilled seamstress

All seamstresses undergo an intensive initial training period, followed by continual on the job training which creates a depth of experience ranging from over two decades within the industry.
Artwork
A team of artists with great ability take 'the presentation' and turn it into reality using a variety of methods:
  • appliquéd artwork, using sticky backed fabrics which blend in with the balloons base colours i.e. lettering.
  • paintwork, e.g. when a more complicated logo with subtitles is to be produced, or when a drop shadow effect is required on lettering.
Artwork can range from simple but effective lettering to complex brushwork or splits or even a combination of all three.
Baskets
Each basket is custom made to very high aircraft standards. These hand crafted yet durable baskets can be made with plain weave, with different intricate weave patterns giving relief; or, they can be tailored once again to suit the individuals taste or company logo, with coloured weave and marine ropes.
  • CAA approved framework made from the highest quality materials by CAA approved Welders.
  • High quality marine plywood, varnished floors or woven floors. Intricate weave patterns including relief on the weave, step and tank strap holes.
  • Best quality leather or suede trims, each one custom made to suit each individual basket.
The baskets range from the small private baskets to custom trimmed sponsored baskets, the highly specialised passenger carrying baskets designed for the Kenyan Masai Mara or UK operators such as Virgin Balloon Flights.
Burners
Constructed in house by highly skilled staff with a wealth of experience. Again, all components have to conform to stringent CAA regulations/testing procedures e.g. the highest quality stainless steel is used similar to that used for the aircraft industry.
