Lindstrand baskets are manufactured in-house from the finest quality Kaboo and Palambang cane which is flexible and durable in all conditions. All our baskets are constructed with the ‘safety cage’ principal using upper and lower tubular stainless steel sub-frames to ensure protection and to maintain their shape

Lindstrand baskets comply with the minimum standard regulation for basket height of 1.1 metre/43" although higher sided baskets are available for increased passenger confidence.


We give you a choice of marine ply or woven cane basket floor and for sheer luxury you may select your cushion floors and comfort basket handles at no extra cost.

The lower edge and foot-holes of every basket is finished in the toughest rawhide and the base is reinforced and strengthened by ash runners protected by nylon wear strips.

To personalise your basket and co-ordinate with the rest of your system we suggest you choose your own bands of coloured cane and we can even colour match your safety handles at a small additional cost.

The trimming of English grain smooth leather or suede are standard features of a Lindstrand basket and adds a distinctive finish.

The Ascot range is available in either straight or swept top offering the finest combination of strength and lightness.
